The Humanistic Buddhist Research Centre (HBRC) was established by Fo Guang Shan, in collaboration with Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), to promote interdisciplinary research on Buddhism and its cultural, historical, and philosophical dimensions. HBRC serves as a platform for scholars to explore the rich Buddhist heritage of South Asia, fostering academic dialogue, archaeological studies, and humanistic perspectives on Buddhism’s influence in the region.
